1. Course : Decide before hand itself about which course you want to take, because that would decide your future.So take a course that you like and not just because someone has suggested you something or your friends have decided to join some course.
   Remember your friend might be interested in the subject you are not interested in and in case you chose the same course and he performs well and you don’t It’s your mistake of choosing that course.So make up your mind about which course you want to take beforehand and not a course based on the availability of seats.
2. Travel Time : Consider a college that is near to your residence or has good bus connectivity( college/ RTC ), so you don’t waste time just on travelling up and down leaving no time for studying or extra circular activities.
   For Example : Semester exams are conducted in the after noon session from 2-5pm and incase you are not connected well you’ll loose time returning back and start preparation for your next examination.
3. College Facilities : Check with your friends circle if he know anyone in the college you plan to join and ask him about the college facilities like Labs, Library, Faculty etc.If possible make a trip to the college you plan to join before hand itself and check for yourself and get satisfied because you’ll be spending your next 4 years studying in that college and it will be costing good money.

During the Interview :

1. Ask the interviewer’s name and contact information so that you can call or email him back.
2. Don’t chew gum, smoke, drink or eat during phone interviews.
3. Speak slowly and clearly.
4. Be a good listener. Allow the interviewer finish his question before you respond. Ask for clarification if necessary.
5. Don’t answer in yes/no unless required, expand your answers in order to give the interviewer an understanding of who you are.

7. Take note during the phone interview.

GRE – Graduate Record Exam

The graduate record examination is one of the two exams you have to take in order to seek admission and financial aid in the universities abroad (mainly US).The computer-based General Test is composed of mainly 4 sections

2. Quantitative Reasoning ( Mathematics ) and
3. Analytical Writing sections ( Reasoning and Logical thinking ).

Your GRE scores are valid for 5 years.

You may appear again in GRE after one month.

The TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test ) measures skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing, and requires you to combine 2 or more of these skills to respond to a question.

The I-94 card given to all nonimmigrants when they enter the United States. The I-94 card serves as evidence that a nonimmigrant has entered the country legally.
